Game night and Broadway: NYC event ride timing
Departure times and sane pickup points for the Garden, Yankee Stadium, Barclays and the theatre district.

The short version
- Pickup points a block or two from the venue beat the official kerb every time.
- Leave 90 minutes before a weekday evening curtain or first pitch.
- Holding the car for the evening on an hourly booking removes the post-event scramble.
Madison Square Garden
Eighth Avenue around the Garden is closed to normal traffic movement before and after events. We drop off on a nearby side street and pick up a short walk away, which is consistently faster than waiting for the official lane to clear. Allow 45–75 minutes from most of Manhattan on a weekday evening.
Yankee Stadium and Citi Field
Stadium exits are the slowest part of any game. We arrange a pickup point clear of the crowd — a few blocks from the gates — and can hold the vehicle for the full evening so you are not searching for a car with 40,000 other people. From Manhattan allow 40–70 minutes to the Bronx, 40–70 to Citi Field.
Barclays Center
Atlantic Avenue traffic is heavy before Nets games and concerts. Drop-off works best on the streets behind the arena, and pickups are arranged a block or two away. Allow 40–70 minutes from Manhattan, 20–40 from most of Brooklyn.
Broadway and the theatre district
Curtain times are unforgiving and the theatre district moves at walking pace between 7pm and 8pm. Leave 90 minutes before curtain from anywhere outside Midtown, and expect a drop-off on an avenue corner rather than directly outside the theatre. After the show, a pre-agreed corner one block off Broadway saves 20 minutes.
Hourly for the whole evening
For dinner and a show, or a game with drinks after, hourly is the calm option: the chauffeur waits, your coats stay in the car and the ride home is already there. Hourly charter starts at $99 an hour with a three-hour minimum.
Big-calendar nights
New York Fashion Week, the UN General Assembly, the marathon and New Year's Eve close streets across the city. On those dates book early and expect us to propose a pickup point a few blocks from where you asked — it is the difference between moving and idling.
